The information contained within this section will introduce you to the concept of risk management, explain the general principles of risk management and clarify the approach and ownership of Risk Management within Swansea University.

The latter pages of the section will make suggestions as to how risk management can be approached within each area of University operations, and will provide guidance on performing the individual stages of the risk management process to help you to identify, assess, control and review risks.
