Free for staff & students - Swansea University has a Gold Scheme licence to use all of the Netskills training materials.

There is a wide range of modules which include: Introducing the Internet, Searching and Information Skills, Communication & Collaboration, Learning & Teaching, Developing a Web Site, and Web Technologies (such as JavaScript, databases, ASPs, Dreamweaver and FrontPage).  The full  list complete with module details and pdf samples can be found on the web at  http://materials.netskills.ac.uk/cat_title.html

The training modules are available for use in; training courses & lectures and for staff & students to download for self-study.  Material can either be used ‘as is’ or tailored to develop appropriate training courses, lectures, tutorials and self-paced study programmes that meet your specific requirements.

A module normally consists of approximately 2.5 hours of material which includes; a PowerPoint presentation with speaker’s notes, a set of hands-on exercises in Word and a list of useful web addresses that allow trainers to deliver face-to-face practical training sessions.  Several of the modules can also be delivered in a self-paced format for individual learners.

Step 3 Select Swansea University-Athens
Step 4 You will be re-directed to login with your normal Athens details
Step 5 Create new account
